I was sure that the Commission found Brenner had asked for changes to the Clayton Utz report & wanting a paragraph inserted. This announcement seems to state the opposite.
Sadly AMP haven't seemed to learn anything and threw the General Counsel under the bus instead. in my corporate life I've always found General Counsel provide Counsel - very rarely would something like this transpire without interaction of the Chairman / Board. If this did happen without their knowledge and in relation to such a serious matter, I'd be asking even deeper questions of the entire business.
