    Hi Hami512

Yes that video is very interesting, I noticed it also.

It seems this video is from Leti's Chief Scientists Presentation back in Feb this year.

    http://www.leti-cea.com/cea-tech/le...e/Brain-Inspired-Technologies-ISSCC-2018.aspx

And this is her research paper on the topic.
    https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/8310165/

They say they are using oxide based ReRam. The description of the module fits in with what WBT have been saying about synapse's & Neuromorphic computing etc in their presentations ( which although I haven't checked, but I think only started after WBT signed up with Leti).

But it seems they aren't using SiO2 ReRam( not just yet?) but rather HfO2 OxRam, as described in this presentation from the Leti Memory Workshop 2017 ( the same seminar Weebit went to)

"Using OxRAM arrays to mimic bio-inspired short and long term synaptic plasticity"

So very interesting, I'd like to hear more from Weebit, it certainly seems the AI synapse development is a lot more real & advanced than what I thought & ideally Weebit's SiO2 ReRam would be a drop in replacement, but I expect there is probably a lot of research going on to see if Wbt's ReRam can be used or not.

So yes Hami, a topic worthy of discussion!!

    Cheers
