i know that an announcement can move the
price - we have all seen the patsies piling
in at the top of a run - and that is the time,
imo, to dump and run.
my argument is that the run-up cannot be sustained
and we have seen this happen time and again on this
and any other spec stock you care to name. the stock
runs up on news release and settles back to previous levels, or lower, within a few trading days.
the cycle repeats over and over and it would be
foolish not to take advantage of it.
this may be the next PDN, granted, but the probability exists that it will not be so and it is likely to do
no better than BLR, WMT, UNX, UXA, TOE, DYL etc. they
were all hyped to the 'nth degree and all are now back
at, or near, their lows.
the point is that all the 'true-believers' are burnt or
back where they started whilst the traders are talking to
their accountants about tax-minimisation.
