I am already waiting for the announcement to find its way into all sorts of Chinese business newspapers. A lot of people haven't heard about it yet, both here and overseas. It might trigger more interest from Chinese investors, both retail and institutional.

In fact, China has kind of just started to invest in Australia, according to RBA.

Now, if you look at more recent figures, it gets even more encouraging. Interestingly, health care seems to be a focus.

I know the latter is talking about private equity, but Chinese interest in Australian equity seems to be on the rise.
