    Snacks...

CVI is an investment for me... whilst I have an exit plan, it is many months and potentially even years off...and certainly not 5 seconds after I buy as you have disclosed.

Of course, in the event of a terminal event, one would likely adopt a new view...but we have far to much already effectively in the bag for all value to be lost.

As I have said before, true investing, to the extent one becomes a core supporter of the company, is never measured in share price. Byt the way, CVI is not alone here for me.

With respect, what you describe in your trading patterns is not an exit plan, it is nothing more than a strategy designed to restrain potential upside.

You are your own worst enemy.

I do not expect anyone to heed my advice, but I offer my opinion based on years of profitable and importantly, consitent trading profits.

Seriously, if you wanted to "trade" something today, why the hell didn't you buy into CNP...or AFG...or any number of other "trader" specials, with the sort of volumes essential to turn a point or two with a degree of safety?

I mean, trading CVI for point value is really small time...and please understand, I do not mean that to belittle you.

Seriously...how much do you make each time you points hop here...$200...$500...$1000?

The same money invested in CNP today that would gain say $500 in a one point move in CVI would have returned comfortably over $2000 in CNP today, with numerous trading opportunities.

The reality is, to make the biggest gains on CVI, people simply need to do nothing...and I mean absolutely nothing. If peple bought the stock then locked it away, we would see the stock move 10 points in no time...potentially gaining a lif of its own, as more and more bought in and many traders like yourself gradually grow an investors hat given their new found wealth.

We saw thgis pattern in the run up in fact.

But...instead of this approach, we now have a group who, once they have bought, instantly turn their thoughts to selling...your descriptions of buying then instantly placing the tock for sale a fe point or two ahead is a case in point.

Again...this is not personal, but more a general spray at the numerous people trading in the way you described, which of course is exactly what is clearly happening.

If only this apparently self-focussed group would try something different for once...listen to reason...the stock would easily move 10 points (mybe more) for the simple fact each purchase would remove the stock from the float and not simply churn it over a few points higher, which ultimately does little more than create a self proliferating downwards spiral.

As I said...I have been there...done that...and can tell you whilst generally profitable, it takes a lot of really hard work to maintain essentially the same net gain returns as holding such stocks and ding nothing.

You you follow the popular threads...I suspect there are many doing just that and equally trading for point value exactly as you are in such stocks...this perhaps underlines my argument that stocks I have not posted on do not see the same level of mindless churn, in spite of significant rises over the same time frame.

It is an obvious impact from a HC centric junior retail pressence...I refer to them as "dweebs", a term clearly offensive to some, but frankly recognised by many.

Anyway, please trade away as you see fit, but perhaps ask yourself; when was the last time you gained a return of $500k in a single day...or even $1m or more...and did so consitently?

Whilst you might feel such returns are un achievable...what if I told you they were a product of an initial market exposure of just $1000?

This was my pack of chewies!

With the highest of genuine intentions, I can tell you such retruns will never happen to those with a mindset that "invests" in stocks like CVI for it's 1c swings!

Anyway, such advice is free...so probably not worth much...so your call.

    Cheers!
