GPI's - Automated Table Solutions (ATS)


Over the last few days, there's been a lot of focus on the $5m to $15m p.a. range quoted for BRN's 25% of revenue from sales of the ATS under our Agreement with GPI. Remember LDN is saying this $US range is in the first 12 months, it's just based on markets in Asia primarily Singapore and Macau, and GPI incurs all marketing, labor and hardware installation costs.


There's no argument; LDN has negotiated one very sweet deal. If Louis is right, even if he's just partly right, about this level of income to BRN then this is enormous for us. And the reason is simple; we expect the Casinos to readily adopt the new ATS because it offers a system whereby the use of counterfeit chips can be immediately detected and hence eliminated on gaming tables due to the combination of RFID and our video analytic technology.


Is the $US5m pa realistic? Well it appears more than realistic. Based on my calculations this level of revenue to BRN requires sales of 1500 ATS units in year 1, assuming revenue to BRN's of $US3333 pa per table. Remember there is a ridiculous number of gaming tables in casinos in Macau and Singapore. Total casinos 60, total gaming tables 9524. That's an avg of 154 gaming tables/casino. Hard to believe. So GPI only have to do 10 casinos. (10 x 154 gaming tables= 1500 ATS sales) With GPI's strong links already in Asia and with enough feet on the street, I think 30 casinos (or 4500 ATS gaming tables) may even be a realistic sales target for GPI.


No wonder LDN speaks with so much excitement about this Deal. Not surprising that's he's racing up to Macau after the AGM to see the full blown prototype in action at the Venetian. He knows what this technology is capable of and it's potential to be one monstrous cash cow for BRN.
