mistyrains; it's my view that we've just witnessed AMP deliver a shot across Malcolm Turnbull's bows.
Corporations are scared to the back teeth that due to revelations about just how little tax they now pay relative to PAYE taxpayers and the extent of ICIJ revelations about money laundering etc that attention is turning from allegations of union issues to their behaviour and their lacklustre performance.
Then there's the little matter of our underperforming corporations continuing to provide record levels of remuneration at shareholder expense and the fear that the next government may actually give retail investors some real influence over such decisions rather than letting like-minded fund managers determine outcomes.
