I thought the phyllic, & potassic alteration shown in the diagrams along with the known existence of mineralising solutions may have added a bit more confidence.
Maybe photomicrographs of the core might do that but I bow to your experience. I asked the question to learn anyway. The scissor holes may help flesh out the picture a bit more.
