Clear Air, Snorky,
You are stating very simplistic views of this situation and it is certainly not a simplistic situation .
I'd point out that OZL's 'first and final' is not the 'legal' certainty they'd like us to believe it is. Then there is a second bidder or a new board with the capability of raising the funds and making us all money, what we had desired from day one. Then there is the possibility/probability of a better offer from OZL in some months time.
Greenstone and by proxy Glencore have at the very least said for now, we have not sold, we think this valuation is low ball. 'Significantly under values the company'. That is not yet a counter offer but you can bet they are not sitting on their hands, they will be paddling furiously underwater.
All of the above is FACT wherever it lands. Some of the larger private holders have 7 figure sums riding on this and some of the smaller holders still have life changing outcomes possible.
Forgive us if we get a little excited or feel a little indignant.
