I think Mum and Dad are going to be the saviours of the off spring getting into housing. Mum and Dad stump up a reasonable deposit and the kid's work their tits off paying the mortgage and the loan back.
I've just checked out the house prices in my area and minimum for an old victorian cottage is $750,000 and you still need to do work on it.
