Well, on this occasion I'm more optimistic. I left this AGM far more confident than at any of quite a few AGMs I've attended before, and from when I entered today.
I'm now convinced the overall concept will be fully realisable, and now very soon.
A comprehensive Q&A session was conducted as usual; Fred, Danny and Yuval all spoke extensively and convincingly, and I had quite detailed separate semi-private chats afterward with Yuval, Chairman Fred, and Danny - the two key technology experts right through the last 9-12 years.
Key takeaway for me is that when they get the next few MEMS chips with the production pixel issue proven, which doesn't seem a major issue, after they're sure it works reliably they'll set up a lab demo in their clean room and ANNOUNCE to the key big industry players (and to SHs) that selected players can attend demonstrations at AKP. As soon as that announcement is made all the big players will want to be there because they won't want to be left behind, as I understand it. I believe that'll become a key turning point - but they have to be confident first in the chips from TowerJazz...
Fred is planning to be in Israel 'soon' after the new chips arrive, and it was pretty clear to me that he's expecting to be involved in this latter process.
Anyway, that's how I read it....
