Errrr I think they have provided info on where they are going.
They have consolidated and are very focused on the plant in the US.
This set to become operational very soon.
Their reason for putting off other biofuel plants is that stock feed is low and prices are high meaning their plan here would not be viable as they rely upon local produce for inventory.
There best bet is open a plant near low cost stock feed for their plan to be viable. No one is sure their operation will actually be profitable and since the Sub Prime fallout and a major investor pulling out they're going to wait for opportunity to borrow money and start building plants here in Australia.
I do no how their Euro plant is goin whether it will become operational.
The US government provides a $1USD rebate for every gallon of ethanol produced. Which should make it feasable to produce bio diesel there.
I dont think Australian government has offered any rebates apart from venture capital to build a bio diesel plant here.
What I would like to know is if their operations in the US will provide a return to investors here Australia's stock AAE??
Does anyone know?
