I wonder how the consumer market feel about a business that uses coal fired power to make money (crypto mining) which is meant to be the new beaut way to decentralise transactions yet using a dirty non green way to do it? Secondly, one could feel a little annoyed given a business is getting their power at 11kwh while mr and mrs smith struggle at 30c? It does go to show the truth that coal based power companies do it at 8c and sell it to you at 28/30/32c or more yet cry poor? Lastly, I think there are actually governed laws surrounding a wholesale producer providing a reseller a cost base that enables them to sell power to the business/consumer under the average price. I'll check that out further.

Mexico ( massive solar coming) , Canada hydro , Sweden are examples of countries with power tendered at 3 c from solar, wind hydro etc going forward so why Australia to mine?
Hawaii is on major fibre nodes and has geothermal etc at 4cents .
