I'm of the same mind. While I wouldn't have minded a change in the whole Board who presided over the affair shareholders made that decision at the last AGM and we've now got what we've got.

We've got two new Board members with a new Chairman and I'd like to see what they can do.

The unknown for us is whether better sales performance on the fire retardant chemicals is simply a matter of time or because our products really aren't all that differentiated or because we don't have the right people.

I'd go back to the diagrams I used to refer to about commercialisation of chemical companies. AJX is now quite clearly not an outstanding performer but looks much more like the ordinary end of average. One can only wonder about the internal missteps and what could have been achieved if a few things had been done differently.

Personally I think that it would have been wiser for the Board and Gavin to listen when they got the warnings about Nick and to seek repayment of some of the money he received. Other action was also possible - like a full investigation.

Who knows what Sue now knows - I'd happily share what I have but the horse has probably bolted. In that case the pressure now rests with her to rescue what she can. I'd like to see her have a go without being distracted by a class action.

    Parsifal.
