You don't earn enough sorry mate - $50k. You shouldn't be looking to buy a property in that case.
My sister in law is a PA in Brissie and she earns $60k.
You need to perhaps focus on your career path that will be able to assist in wealth creation. You'll find it hard if the job you are currently in doesn't provide much scope for you to climb the wage ladder.
$50k and living in WA....No wonder you are whining. You are the problem. Not the country, not asset prices, not politicians and certainly not past generations.
