a market cap of about $5m would be closer to the mark. if you had read watso's posts, then watso has previously mentioned a few companies, by way of comparison
1. at the issue price of 20c, a new float called southern cross goldfields will have a similar market cap, but will have about $10m in cash (western areas is putting in $1m). polaris, and southern cross will, jointly, hire a rig, for one year, thus ensuring a high level of drilling activity. southern cross also have, or have under option, about 300,000 oz of gold, which is a good starting point, as well as holding the trough wells nicke prospect (4% nickel, discovered by international mining corporation, back in about 1970 - a company which was chaired by a woman called millie phillips.
at this stage, gda, probably have about $1.5m in cash, and a quick skim through the reports, indicate that they have 1100 metres of drilling planned a bit further down the track. gda is underfunded, and is really scratching the surface
watso noticed a company called de grey mining, who have a similar market cap, but have about $4m in cash, and hold 1 million shares in atlas iron - so they have about $6m in cash and securities, and keep on producing interesting drill results
pacrim has been mentioned, and even though the market cap is a bit less than double (mmm probably more than doulb now), they have consistently been producing good intercepts, for 18 months, which would suggest that there would be plenty of time, to get on to gda, if they do, per chance get onto somehting at parker range , which at the end of the day, is a pretty average prospect
watso once mentioned brumby resources as a bit of a comparison, who are planning on doing some drilling on their prospect to the west of wallal downs - the company has a market cap of about about $5m, has about $2m in cash, and has a few ho hum yawnish prospects. watso would suggest, that the market cap of gda, should be more in line with an explorer like brumby
at 1c per share, gda, could be worth a punt
mmmm noticed that hotdig, got out of the dog quickly. also noticed that a former strong supporter of the stock, has not made comment for ages ie warnie
mmmm - better check the stuff under the window
