Gold in USD has essentially been in a range of 1300 to 1350 in 2018, despite Trump, Syria, NK, US walking out of Iran N deal, etc etc....
Conversely, gold in AUD is now a different story as the AUD breaks down as interest rates here remain on hold and in US gradually increase.
I do think Aussie miners and soon Aussie explorers will cop bids as AUD deteriorates and Aud gold goes to 1800 and above.
I'm convinced money will find its way to AUD gold.
Just my opinion, and I'm usually wrong
