The New Zealand Territory Manager will initiate the commercialisation of Nearmap services in the New Zealand SMB space. The successful candidate will reach out to new prospects and leverage the wide adoption of Nearmap in Australia to illustrate value to New Zealand businesses. The New Zealand Territory Manager will understand how to provision a suitable solution for an eclectic range of New Zealand businesses. The New Zealand Territory Manager will educate prospects, through regular phone and web based engagement and face to face meetings. A customer-centric focus is imperative, to nurturing customers and adding value, as part of the Nearmap subscription model. The New Zealand Territory Manager will be a front-line resource, in Nearmap’s global expansion goals.
A typical day for you may look like this…
Identify new prospects and targets through regular prospecting activity.
Responsible for a revenue target derived strictly from selling to New Zealand businesses.
Leverage strong interpersonal skills, to arrange meetings and demonstrations.
Regularly spend time on the ground in New Zealand, meeting with prospects and attending trade shows.
Add New Zealand opportunities to pipeline, and move these opportunities through the sales funnel.
Work with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and material, to aid in the education and awareness of Nearmap, within New Zealand business.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, to expand value and therefore usage of Nearmap.
Identify key stakeholders involved in the buying process, to ensure maximum value is extracted from all opportunities.
Maintain a high standard of CRM hygiene and data entry accuracy.
