There is only two ways to interpret this, either WP lied diectly to shareholders or his forecast expenditure guidance was missed. Either way Admedus has shown that it takes more than a good product to generate sharehilder value. It also takes solid dependable guidance with a degree of trust and confidence in the mamagement. WP has smashed both in one foul swoop.
I have wondered at times why there was no genuine interest from funds or big players in the past, but it seems that this is exactly why. Smart money doea not trust management until the balance sheet confirms what is said.

Well it's not a poor CR is it? It's targetted and not excessive. Time is of the essence here, we need to get product to market ASAP and capture it.

The problem with the previous "cycle" was the drag from Immunotherapies which is a bottomless pit to around $1billion. No longer the case.
