I was thinking right...what if, MFS has already come up with the $$ to pay back the short term debt? In such a case, they wouldn't need to sell Stella to service the debt as has been "rumoured" in the press, but they would have a leveraged position now and could get a realistic price for it right?
MFS's reputation is in tatters anyway and they will need all the $$ they can muster to see them through the coming months and execute any other plans that may or may not have been in the works, so the sale of Stella, be it in part or full, is still required to instill confidence in investors.
