RVR.... I do not have rose-colored glasses on about China, their political policies, their commercial practices, or their lack transparency; but RF's rather unique position within the Chinese establishment gives me reassurance about the chances of mutual benefit in his investments.

I have spent a lot of time considering the mutual benefits and leverage of Friedland vs China, and feel that it is in balance. It is a two-way street, and Friedland has a lot of things the Chinese want and need.

China puts CLQ opportunity into orbit; and RF's connections give an immeasurable advantage in China. But even without China, CLQ is positioned to have tremendous world-wide success (as is Ivanhoe Mines). Friedland is giving the Chinese a lot of profit; they have only to gain.

The bottom line is that I do not think they will treat him unfairly. We will see about that.

MULTOTEC...one reason I love CLQ is that it reduces the need to chase after every new metal that comes along. In this connection the Multotec website is extremely helpful because it illustrates what a third-party commercial mining enterprise deems reliable enough, and sufficiently proven, to sell to its own established clients. The commercial and financial arrangements with CLQ are unknown, but that is not the point. Multotec does not need to sell products and services about which they have doubt.

I highly recommend a visit to the MULTOTEC website (Products: SOLID/LIQUID SEPARATIONS TAB), where they are actively selling right now CLQ Clean iX solutions for base metals (copper, nickel, including nickel laterites, cobalt (!), and zinc); gold; uranium; and REEs. For those who want to sound the alarm about "unproven processes", I refer you to the Multotec website. Maybe you should warn them before they get into hot water with their 200 clients.

NEO...copper...The Kamoa-Kakula-Kakula West project is so big and rich, even you might consider it
despite your justifiable aversion to the DRC. (If you are still dead set against DRC, then you can consider that you are getting it for free when you buy Ivan for the Platreefs project.) I mention this not to persuade anyone about Ivanhoe or the DRC (no need for another rant), but because the KKKW project is Friedland's major copper bet. He does not need CLQ to cover copper for himself, although he does seem to be looking for additional copper hedges in various places (South Africa, West Africa, Mongolia, South America).

ALL THOSE ANNOUCEMENTS...Every day that goes by without any announcements just adds to my conviction that we are going to have an absolute mega-bomb when the BFS comes through...stunning BFS figures, Easpring off-take, cathode plant, financing, the works.
These are all related. He might through in a scandium off-take and a vanadium deal for icing on the cake.

    Whatever.

They are all going to happen eventually, even if not in the same announcement.

But if they happen together, it could be the Mother of All Re-rate Announcement Bombs.

Wouldn't want to be short when those announcements hit.

The clock is ticking. Get ready.
