Don't forget they feel like they are funded to acquire another 7,200 (remainder of 8,000 acre targeted package) acres. This will push them out to 9,000-10,000 acres. Even if you assume a 2 year development time line that means they could have US$200m+ of land in 2-3 years.
Talking about this stock just seems so rampy when you look at the current market cap. If POO heads back to $100 and finds any sort of stability there we will see PV10 values go up and hence acreage values should follow.
The CR has weighed on the stock but with oil prices rising and interest increasing in Anadarko this might be the last chance to aggressively pick up really undervalued land so I think they made the right choice.
We wait to see if holders are justified in their thinking.
