I like Elon Musk, me trying to justify small projects to management and him shooting cars into space just cause......
But that battery would be f*cked if SA wasn't fed power via the inter-connectors from VIC, fine for conditioning which is what it was built for, but sucks for supply if the connectors go down.
Even Germany has pulled back from wind and renewable over a certain % of supply. The supply and conditioning issues will be resolved over time but batteries are only fixing a bigger issue at the moment.
