if your browser has been hijacked and there is a trojan lurking in your registry, uninstalling and reinstalling is not going to fix that. You will need to identify that trouble maker and do a manual delection. Some of the more sophisticated trojans will prove to be a lot harder to get rid off.

what version of Nortin are you using ? It should be in its anti-phishing section.
