i can understand people being upset, but, seriously, what absolute frogsh!t...sorry, perhaps a bit harsh, but, i think you're getting caught up by emotions.
inspector and stublack have been constantly taking the p!ss and stirring the hornet's nest that is all... we haven't seen any shorts, they haven't profited from selling while the stock was heading downwards. are you suggesting it was all a grand plan to get an opportunity to buy stock via a raise way down the track?
after more than 12 months delays they were banking on it to continue happening and threw out low prices to stir and create fear... nothing more, nothing less. did us shareholders think that the price wouldn't fall further if delays continued? i did, i just hoped the company got it's act together and the plant and production on track and therefore the price would be back on the rise.
i am sure there was a lot of top holders that all knew about the CR from thursday onwards.... once the stock had gone into trading halt that is. investors in the raise would have naturally known earlier.... so inspector knows a top holder or connected via some link to a broker... big deal.... if there was anything untoward here they wouldn't be anywhere near dumb enough to state the things they knew. stublack i believe is rhysyboy as mention previously perhaps by dynamite dan.... inspector, i think he/she is probably a trader... picking select times to rattle cages. so be it.
many people buy and sell shares under shaw accounts etc, it doesn't mean it's them doing the trading as a company.
so far as plans for new plant... well, i think we will hear a lot of news very very soon...
i think the announcement this week was a "let's throw all the cards on the table"... get the shock out of the system, then let's order plant and start the run of more positive announcements. positive announcements that will help consolidation be a win, rather than a loss (as people are fearing). i think it was a strategic decision to start the uptrend with a clean slate. (i use that term very very loosely). i.e. raise out, magna out, bonus out....
i for one am not real happy about the bonus... but, actually did think at the time when reading the announcement i wonder if it really has been encouraged by the insto's and first sam that came onboard.... can you think of a better way to align their success? it doesn't feel good for us holders, but, it does/would for sizeable new entrants.... i do think i would like to see sales, results greater than the 58% mentioned increased etc though.
the bonus is signed off by not just cedric, but, i'm assuming all the directors:
Ray Betros (new director, albeit no shares at the minute)
Jock (6m shares, $60k salary)
Peter Richards (85m shares, $48k salary)
Peter Linford (42m shares, $48k salary)
* from reviewing annual report
there is a serious amount of dilution for the two peter's shares here with the bonus etc, and they aren't raking in big salaries.... why would they go along with something if they didn't think it was in their own best interests? yes yes, i know there is no doubt some reasons, i just wanted to point out there holdings and salaries.
we will hear a lot more about the plant and it's aims, hopefully details about the changes and improvements very soon. it won't just be we are aiming for 58%+... unfortunately, waiting is something that we're all inherently bad at at the best of times, let alone after a shock raise....magna....and the options.
is there another announcement coming this week ?
