I'm surprised they didn't state that the allegation is untrue - so I guess it is in some way not false.
Import issues - well that is a surprise on top.
I've previously posted that I thought they might be reducing wine quality based on some metrics, but maybe it has been an issue of forcing lower quality wine onto distributors, if the allegation is true. That takes a lot of leverage to do that, but eventually it will damage the sales I would think. Forcing somebody to sell something "bad" in proportion to every sale of something "good". There are a lot of wine brands out there waiting for an opening, and fashions change everywhere.
