I have heard from 2 sources talk of a round of consolidation amongst Cooper Basin oil & gas players(juniors).
the way i hear it Odin energy is currently making a play for Victoria petroleum and has plans to rationalise a number of smaller operators.
Where this gets very interesting(i am told) is that an insto/fund manager is getting behind this with serious $$$ and a view to building a serious oil & gas play with the added bonus of QLD cbm assets.
has anyone else heard similair talk ??
