True, there is a long & ugly list, major reason we should be reassured by the independent assessment by the IAEA, both initially and subsequent review.
They have also assisted in improving the domestic AELB monitoring regime.
Should be welcomed back for a further review prior POL renewal next year if Malaysia has any doubts.
Personal observation suggests Mt Weld is equally strict on environmental compliance & general safety issues, operating well within the margin.
