Hi Budor,
I've head Andrew Stewart associate the bornite with basalt. Is the reason the larger amounts of chalcopyrite and bornite occur in the more coherent basalt because it's less permeable and thus act to concentrate the mineralising solution and provide less facility for oxidation or escape.
