The only advantage in having the SP languishing in a horrid downtrend for the best part of 18 months is that it gives everyone who isn't a die hard bull on the story the opportunity to exit.

Hence, only the investors with utmost conviction in the story remain & when it turns north (like what we have just seen), the rise is not met with much resistance because the vast majority of holders believe it will continue to rerate significantly higher.

We could continue to see this aggressive move north for a little while longer!

The merged entity has significant firepower & they've already delivered new contracts with those seen last wk.
