The CIRB hearing is set for 5 & 6 June & will decide what constitutes 'essential services' on the railway & therefore whether the remaining IOC Sept-Iles workers who operate the QNS&L railway can also join the strike. IOC says that their rail contract with CIA is an 'essential service' but the USW 9344 union doesn't agree.
