I am not a process expert, but I did do University level chemistry and physics and have worked with many industrial companies that operate chemical processes.

I can't believe that Pablo hasn't already run feed stock all the way through 13 (or so) stages and at least produced Lithium at some grade.

In fact, there's a high probability that he has reached battery grade.

I am guessing he is now optimizing the process (working out how to do it cheaper) and also documenting a paint-by-numbers process that plant operators can follow.

It's not enough to have produced BG Li, they will need to prove the process, prove that it's repeatable and verify their cost base.

When AGY announce, it won't be "we've done it," it will be "we have started production."

I think that's the hold-up; Pablo wants to prove he's the Heisenberg of Lithium.

There can be no uncertainty; it's a matter of principle.
