Seriously, it is a "Sorry" state of affairs.
Sadly history can not be reversed and so many good intentions have failed.
The idea that cultures should be sustained is bunkum.
Western culture realises that you have to advance just to keep up and suggesting otherwise to indigenous peoples does them a great disservice.
I believe that every effort should be made to advantage our indigenous people but that certainly doesn't mean isolating them and encouraging dot paintings.
Sure, I would love to live a nomadic lifestyle, but that is not the solution.
Assimilation is the answer but by agreement hopefully not force.
Probably censored for political comment, but it is a situation that has to be addressed and solved before the destruction of those who deserve recognition as our original inhabitants.
