Very interesting video with a representative of Bushveld Minerals UK regarding vanadium flow batteries. They've obviously had a good start with the South Africa experiment but his comments about how the Chinese are ramping up big time with vanadium flow batteries were pivotal IMHO. They (the Chinese) seem to realise how important these types of batteries can be, especially in regard to battery recharge rates and MW storage and most importantly, longevity of the battery systems (i.e. 20 years use on a multiple discharge per day rate).

I'd hazard a guess we won't be down here (7c) for long peeps. Might just be worth picking up some more at these prices. DYOR.
