I firmly believe that the Chinese will be the first to widely utilize vanadium batteries, and batteries as large as they can scale them. The country is so huge that a grid loses a significant percentage of the generated power. They have expressed interest in decentralizing power generation and I somehow feel that the plants can be even smaller if they can store power for peak useage. I'm not a science guy so don't have the numbers, just know it's true.

Fact check me here but I believe at least one and perhaps two Nobel prizes were won on the discovery of ion exchange. There is a company in the US that is trying to use it but haven't made it past a large test plant stage as of some months ago when I lost interest. They are having financing problems. I'll remember their name and maybe we will be able to cross check the process. Perhaps they claim to be able to seperate vanadium.I'm sorry I'm not being more specific, one of my other companies ran wild today and I'm still on that board at 10pm local time.
I will research the ion exchange process and its development from the US company and get back to the board. notned the link to PuriTech was very interesting to me. I'm suprised that more companies don't use ion exchange. Now to figure out who TMT is. Dumb question. Does OZ have more than one exchange? I'm just fairly flat ignorant about your countries stock system. I do know it costs me an extra $50 US each buy I make of CLQ. I trade through Canada and most stocks have a system where the $5 is the only cost. Clean Teq is newly listed in Toronto so doesn't have that up and running. My theory is if you can't make the commission on a trade don't make the trade. I think I've made about 7 buys and at 50 I want enough shares to spread that around.
