The Mutooroo Cobalt District is under-explored and the Company aims to find further [cobalt and copper] resources in shear and lode structures identified by aeromagnetics and airborne EM geophysics.





Cobaltian pyrite, an iron sulphide mineral that has a high cobalt content, is associated with the copper sulphide and gold mineralisation. It is a geological characteristic of the Curnamona Province (in South Australia), related to the genesis of mineralisation, that almost all the cobaltian pyrite in the region contains significant associated cobalt.
