The low on 22-1-08 for Oz was just before the full moon that peaked on 13.35pm GMT, just after midnight EST.
I haven't been able to use my computer and charting data for some months but from memory the market might have closed on or about it's low that day? Bouncing back strongly the next session on 23-1-08.
It's just a matter of interest that today we can see our market react to the exact time of the new moon, if any reaction at all and also interesting that it's a partial solar eclipse.
Less than an hour to go.
Best to have an open mind.
