Thanks for that, you're bang on. It's a harsh lesson. I'm in a better position than some, I didn't wager my life savings on them but enough for it to sting.

I remember a story I was told by my Business Studies teacher in high school about a Telstra executive who stuffed up something they should have known about and cost the company a few million dollars. When the CEO was asked whether that person was going to be fired, he replied 'why would I fire them, they've just learnt a valuable lesson that many others haven't - and them learning it cost me millions of dollars'.

Life is a sum of your learnings and experiences. Here's to the next (profitable) venture.
