Here's the thing with targets...
Yes it is important to hit them, but if they aren't ambitious enough, then they are pretty much useless.
If you set yourself ambitious targets, but fail to meet them, you will more than likely have exceeded less ambitious targets less aspirational (or perhaps a CEO wanting to keep their job), but run the risk of being seen as a failure.
If WP and team have set ambitious targets, I see this as nothing but positive, but impatient shareholders need to keep this perspective.
