"Delay tactics"
That's a bit rich mate; I dunno what line of work you're in but I'm guessing that it isn't resource extraction.
All schedule items in this game are targets, and people can make up their own minds whether actual versus targets are reasonable.
Nothing turns into a pumpkin at midnight.
With all this talk lately about what the company MUST do by when, it's a wonder if people making those calls actually understand what is involved at an operational and technical level with an undertaking like this.
Who's next in line to produce from brine..? If for some reason we can't quite get there this month, what's the other red hot company about to produce that I should know about?!
Part of me is now hoping there's some kind of hiccup - not a dealbreaker, just something that pushes things back a bit - just so I can collect a bunch of cheap shares when others pull the pin because their assessment of reasonable delays is better suited to other sectors.

Sure, everyone has the right to assess what's reasonable or not for them, but it's getting a bit tiring reading all these doomsday scenarios if current targets slip further.

Shock horror! How can there possibly be a few months "delay" with such an ambitious and complex work program?!?! Not to mention it's out in the middle of nowhere, making it even more difficult to deal with surprise issues that arise..

I'll just continue to accumulate. If we don't go bust, the position we'll be in in 18 months will be essentially the same regardless of whether we get the big news next week or next month.
I would only be worried if I thought we actually couldn't produce, and there's no reason at all to think that yet.

Solid progress continues, and that's all that matters imo.
