Market manipulation/inside trading etc all exists it has done from day dot and will not stop.. With the 1 share algos on just about every pre/csp its evident they will do whatever they choose to do and control the sp in how it suits them to do so....
Market manipulation is used by many retail investors to try make sense of why there beloved stock is going down and yes no doubt its probably happening (but) if you start focusing your energy on these gyrations and movements you are going to get hustled more often than not ... Just gotta understand why you bought in if its for a trade have your criteria to exit if turns ugly ... If your a ST/MT holder just gotta block out the energy and trust your reasons why you entered (which of late i have a few red holdings but im actually happy holding which is rare for myself )
....
Thing with what people are seeing of late (obvious trading manipulation) is because lack of liquidity makes these stand out so easy and all you have to do is look at the bird and see who is priming them up for the quick pump .... See it over and over and i can not even look at the bird till night and can pick who is pumping them just by judging of the action lol.... Like walking behind a male bulldog(they just stick out ) .....
When markets turns to crap with no volume it makes it easy for the bigger groups who have a large pool of cash to just do what they like and thats just the asx spec market we are in.. Try it in the larger cap plays and they will get burnt very fast ....
While the market has been illiquid i rarely trade but just watch traders fighting for pips all day and watch who is doing what to get a better understanding on how these groups play than check broker data etc to see if i find a common action (yup
) alot of same things happening ....
For me insider trading is what wrecks the market as instead of seeing a big burst of buyers turning up on the anns we just see the insiders dumping into the news killing the movement.... Yup been happening for along time but with everyone now chatting it seems to happen more often nowadays...
I actually feel twitter has wrecked the market as everyone seems to be linked to all sorts of people these days and it seems the common theme is to just not actually learn how to be a better investor but how to suck the t$t better
Even some saying they dont talk to each other which is blatant lying ......
Off to a lovely lil coastal town called minni water for a few days of offshore fishing while the winds are light ...
