DWS long cycle cyclical company

Decent and relatively well managed company with large insider. However go back over the last 15 years of earnings it does seem to exhibit longer term profit up and down cycles. Last time it had a decent down cycle the share price dropped to around 50c. With the heavy price retreat I wonder if it's the start of a down cycle which normally takes a few years to come out of. I want to go long at current prices, but nervous because of these trends. Watching closely
