MCR might be able to pick up that asset for even less than the agreed price, if they are willing to cancel the purchase and renegotiate with the admistrators. Looks like VRE, are going to be liquidated and the only real asset they have is the share in CH. From the posts in the VRE thread(Condolences to VRE holders), they have 9 mill in debt, 5 mill in the bank. The sale of CH to MCR should cover it and allow shareholders to get a few dollars back. Just goes to show how hard it is to find good management.
