This bloke is a piece of work...the perfect ALP member and trade union leader...

"Almost two years ago, the Royal Commission into Trade Unions heard the ex-CFMEU boss paid cash to have a truckload of CFMEU documents dumped in landfill, after first trying to burn them at his property.

The royal commission heard "two horse float loads of material" were taken to his property and that he paid cash for a tip truck to take it away and dump it later in the week, after first trying to set the documents alight.

"I think because of the nature of what was in the truck and the dockets and all that sort of stuff and, you know, possibly not to have any trace of it," Mr Hanna said, when asked why he deliberately paid cash for what he considered to be mainly insignificant archive files".

"THE construction union has been found liable for controversial ex-president David Hanna’s actions in threatening to “bury” a phone down someone’s throat at a Brisbane worksite.

Hanna was fined the maximum penalty of $10,500 in May for entering the Broadway on Ann site without permission in 2015, and telling someone who filmed the incident to: “Take that phone away or I’ll f---ing bury it down your throat".

Former Construction Forestry Maritime Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) boss Dave Hanna has been committed to stand trial on rape charges, accused of raping a woman he met outside a bar in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley in March last year.

Mr Hanna is facing two counts of rape and one count of a breach of privacy.

I wonder how his wife feels about all this?
