Natural selection is inadequate as a mechanism to create new species.
It is a theory that has not been observed to have operated since the theory was expounded.
No new species in the natural world have been observed to have arisen as a result of this mechanism.
Also Darwin's theory is completely inadequate for explaining the sudden appearance and disappearance of large groups of
species, or even entire genera.
