I do think that this is a case of buying straw hats in winter.
As we gold investors know, on a relative and absolute basis the sector is at historical lows. Whilst we can get frustrated that RSG should be valued much higher than it currently is, I think that JW is executing the organic growth plan well. I also think that he and is team are seeing a time limited opportunity to get set for what they/ we think will be the next bull cycle be investing in a range of explorers.
In time, if just one of these explorers/ developers defines a large Tier 1 resource we will look back and think how astute JW was, much like investors at NST now think with BB's acquisition of Jundee.
