I think if they can get a piece of kyc keys for open banking, with the personnel data protection that would be great. An independent system from the banks would keep most happy, goverment and account holder, no so much the banks them self.
As to how the turn a profit, I don’t think anyone’s really knows what something like that would cost or how to make it profitable, as in any new industry.
