Had a quick look at the 2017 Annual report. They haven't issued any shares to management for sometime. The last time was 8/12/15 when Share Appreciation Rights were issued with an exercise price of $2.98. However they have paid cash bonuses (on top of wages) over the last couple of years. I think they paid the full cash bonuses in 2016 but in 2017 they didn't hit some key targets (eg EBITDA) and only $745K was paid as cash bonuses spread between 8 executives, as opposed to the maximum cash bonuses possible of $1202K. That's my reading of it.
Might be a sign that the share price has bottomed when they start issuing themselves Share Appreciation Rights again instead of cash bonuses?
