Sorry dave, I put it badly.
Up at orbit level, the sun's rays would melt my head with direct radiation at 121 deg C.
At 70,000 ft they wouldnt melt my head, and I would be freezing.
It is what happens between those 2 levels that i'm trying to figure out.
