Nothing wrong with peeling your own prawns. I don’t mind doing it, but doing that bag full would be very tedious, and time consuming. I guess if you owned a restaurant you might want your staff doing something more productive. Maybe prawn peelers are in short supply.
As I said, Australian made has been tried and people don’t buy it. It’s a bad business model, because people will not pay the higher amount for the same product. People DO want cheap goods, as the evidence suggests.
